School District Sued in Visalia, CA for Sexual Assault of Minors by School Janitor

The Fresno Bee reports that the district has been sued for negligence in failing to protect students sexually abused by a janitor.  (See story here). Holding the school district liable for the acts of its employee will require a showing that they knew or should have known about his propensity to commit such acts and failed to conduct proper background checks and or investigation to determine that the employee was unfit.
